The Work
The area is excavated and base material is placed and compacted in lifts, shaped so water moves to an outlet instead of pooling — drainage is built into the base rather than added afterward. Turf is laid to the finished grade, seamed, infilled for the use it will take, and secured at the perimeter so the edges stay down. Pet areas take an infill and a base built to drain and to rinse.
