Healthy pruning, shaping, and removal of small to mid-size trees.

Tree & Shrub Trimming

Pruning is as much about timing as technique. Cut at the wrong point in the season and you invite stress, poor regrowth, or a shape that never fills back in. We prune to keep small and mid-size trees healthy and well-formed, shape shrubs so beds read as intentional rather than overgrown, and remove what's failing before it becomes a problem over a fence, a roof, or a driveway. We know Central Texas species and how they respond to our heat, and we work to the standards your neighborhood expects. Everything is cleaned up and hauled off before we leave. Walk the property with us and get a clear, honest estimate within 24 hours.

Our Process

How we approach tree & shrub trimming

01

Assess

Property walk: grass type, soil condition, weed pressure, and the cause of any damage already showing.

02

Plan

A seasonal schedule matched to the grass type, the soil, and the growing season.

03

Treat

Applications and maintenance carried out on schedule, at rates set for the conditions.

04

Follow Up

Results read at the next visit, and the schedule adjusted to what the turf is doing.

Signs

  • Shrubs grown into walls, walks or windows
  • Crossing or rubbing branches
  • Dead or broken wood in the canopy
  • Flowering shrubs blooming less each year

The Work

Timing is set by the plant: spring bloomers are pruned after they flower so next year’s buds are not cut off, and most others are shaped while dormant. Dead, damaged and crossing wood comes out first, then the plant is shaped to its natural habit rather than sheared into one. Cuts are made at the collar or a node so the wound closes, and clearance is held off structures, walks and drives.

Prune to the plant’s calendar, not the schedule’s.
